SETUP

The setup, or rig, is the character's internal skeletal rule system that allows it to bend and move. Without it, your creation is nothing more than a textured statue. All animators can tell you that it's the last, and most important, stage a character must go through before it can be animated. They would also agree that a terrible setup could slow down or completely gum up a production pipeline.

At Anzovin, our rigs have seen 7 years of development and testing. Built to maximize modularity, flexibility, and ease of use, our setups allow animators to avoid working with limits on motion. The best animation comes from artists who have the freedom to move their characters the way they envision. That's why we work hard to make sure THEY stay in charge, not the rig.

Members of our team have been on the frontier of rig design for close to a decade. In fact, our system for setup has become so streamlined that we have produce two plug-ins, THE SETUP MACHINE and THE FACE MACHINE, that does most of the work for you.
